I can't complain, and if is the same guy we are talking about... in the end I was still ok since these are hard to come by in good condition. I didn't have to spend all the $40+- but I'm a little picky with my stuff and wanted it to look clean

I installed the 76mm and the IMS spacer from @highaltitude at the same time-ish and gained more low end power from the spacer and 1mpg. Then the throttle body gave quicker thistle response and .5-1mpg more on top of that. With running 35" tires and 4.56 gears I was getting 14.5-15.5 mpg steadily.

Just picked up a throttle body for $163 on eBay. Ordered the adapter as well. I'll port and polish when I get back in a week or so!

I have the MAF calibrator installed. I ran the file for a TRD intake and according to my ultra gauge, it was a bit lean ( if I understand it correctly). I'd like to get a tune done with this, the intake, the manifold spacer, and the hopeful future snorkel, but I'm a little worried about tuning. Maybe when I understand it a bit more or find someone with a bit more knowledge to help

I think 4Runner throttle body or FJ throttle body.

I may have limited my search to under $200. There's a guy on there with an adapter and a throttle body for $400. I think if you make an offer of $250, he'll go for that. I didn't want to spend that much because he shaved down the throttle body plate shaft and stripped a screw. I was worried it might dislodge while driving.

I've done that mod on my CJ5's GM throttle body and snapped the head off the screw because those are barbed and designed not to come out. I was worried this would be the same.

Why not just buy a upper off a 10+ FJ and bolt it on? Are the intake ports larger? I was looking at them and they appear to be the same other than tb size?

I think utilizing an IMS would be more beneficial for about the same price point.
