2016+ Tacoma TRD Pro Skid Plate

    I don't take it out with the intention of breaking it, but I drive a 4x4 to get to places I can't without one, hunting/ camping/ fishing/ etc. Shit happens. I would never want to have to worry about making a skidplate ugly, so not sure why I would spend extra money to buy a pretty one that's less durable.

    Honestly, I've been driving 4x4s with factory skids (Toyotas and Chevys) for the last 20+ years and never had any damage to the truck behind the skidplate. Every few years, I pull them off and pound them as straight as possible and hit them with Rustoleum. I figure that 3/16" steel will help me skip the pounding step, which can be a PITA. :)

    That's a great idea and way to do it but I just received my TRD skid ;)
