Thoughts on using a leveling kit to just level the truck out? I know everyone is using complete replacement kits but what's the downside of leveling kit? Don't crucify me just looking for info and opinions. Gracias folks..

Spacers usually cause a rougher ride along with prematurely wearing out the suspension. Just toss in a little more cash and op for Bilstein 5100s. They'll level out the truck.

Only have to change to the 5100 kit in the front and nothing on rear?

    Are coilovers necessary?

Widely depends on your usage of the truck.

Just for clarification, Bilstein 5100s aren't a true coilover. They're essentially the same shocks that come on the TRD OffRoad, but are adjustable to 3 or 4 height settings.
