I forgot to mention that the lean in my TRD Sport is actually most prominent on the driver's side rear. The left front (LF) is only off by about a 1/4" whereas the left rear (LR) is off by 3/4". It's as if the rear leaf assembly is just... well... not arched enough.

I'm relatively okay with the front being off, but the rear sure makes my OCD kick in, LOL!

They ARE new leaf packs, hehehe. Truck is new, but the stock 3-leaf packs are clearly on the weak side. Can't wait for the stronger 4-leaf TSB packs to be installed end of the week.

Does the 1/4" spacer help at all with the rear lean? Put 5100's on a few days ago and have front and rear drivers side lean.

I just measured again. Your right it still sages a little. But 1/4 inch spacer helped it a little. I Apologize for the info. The problem is I didn't flex the truck after installing the spacer. So I'll correct what I said. But my lean in the back was fine. The left front was sagging down about a half inch. But would a body lift correct it.

58 siesta thank you for the info. I wouldn't even realize it would be the body mount bushings. That does make sense. Diffently something I'm going to look into.

The '12+ models seem to have much lower quality body mount bushings than the older years.

Of course having the fuel tank, battery and driver weighing down the left side of the truck at all times doesn't help things for any of our trucks. Without an overly stout leaf pack or air bags, you will still likely see a little Taco lean in the rear.

Most likely it probably is a little lower in the back. But honestly it's not even noticeable really. So most likely I'm just going to leave it alone. But once again thanks for the info on the body mounts. 58 siesta.

Mine sags a full inch front and rear on driver side. Irritates the heck out of me. I'm going to try correcting it some by putting an overload spring I removed when I got my Dakar's and installing a 13 mm spacer on the front coil. Should be good??

My stock measurements are the same as yours. 1/4" in the front doesnt bug me, however the driver rear is 7/8" or so.

Read all 8 pages on this thread and seems like most member get the "taco lean" fixed and not needing a spacer for the driver strut assembly. I didnt see any information about the driver rear being fixed.
However, i did see that the cab and bed are independent mounted to the frame so even if replacing the OE body mounts to poly mounts, it wouldn't fix the driver rear lean.
My conclusion would be my rear leafs just suck and need replaceing.

Taking it to the dealer tomorrow... I have 1/4 in my gas tank with those numbers, stock 2015 tacoma 4x4 dblecab, and 19k miles.
Sorry for making this so long and any other suggestions are appreciated! :)

    Good luck with the dealer!

I'm in the process of swapping my body mounts to poly, but only because i think one cab mount is damaged.

I don't think for its gonna help with the taco lean very much.

A full gas tank weighs about 220 plus the 50 lb battery, that's 268 mounted to the frame. The cab bears the weight of the driver which varies, say 200. So yeah 468 lbs on the driver's side. The truck is going to lean.

Someone could replace the body mounts with iron blocks, is still gonna lean. Simple physics.

With new body mount bushing the front is fixed. Dakars fixed the rear.
