please excuse if this horse has been beaten. But this seems like a good alternative,it should fit on stock trucks,at lighter weight than 265/75/16. Any opinions?

Just the essentials and no extra fluff.
I have Cooper ST Maxx in that size. Working great so far. No complaints. I just drove the truck up the mountain to go skiing and it seemed very solid. Fits in the factory spare location too.

I've ran them in stock and lifted suspension, I'd suggest them

These tires measure 33" tall? They really don't look it in the pictures.

Factory TRD OR suspension. I'm using Rock Blokz mud flaps and can still fit Rud Grip 4x4 chains.

Just put mine in this weekend. So far so good. Doesn't feel like the size impacted my truck much.

Still liking these? How are they in the rain? Arguing with myself over this size or the 265/75/16's...

I love the way this size looks.

    Thanks!

Awesome all around, not much rub, added an inch of ground clearance to my off road.

I can't let the wife know
What part does the tire rub the most? What is the back spacing of your rims?

Looks like I am real late to reply. Sorry about that. They do fine in the rain but like my old KO's they break loose easier than I expect if I hit the gas at a red light/stop sign when starting out. I expected them to be "stickier". This winter will be the real test. They did great in Moab and absolutely no rubbing.

Are you running the 235/85/16 tires? Those don't look that skinny to me, any regrets? Pro's or Con's? I am thinking about the route for my tires.

They are skinnier than they look in my photos, but, I like them. I went with them, because I was hoping to get a little more ground clearance and that they would be lighter. I don't think going skinny made much of a difference MPG wise, I get about 1 MPG less than I did with the stock tires. I might try 267/75/16 next time to see how those feel on my truck, but, that ll be a year or two. This will be my first real winter on them. I ll post back after some snow falls.

Awesome, thank you for the feedback. I am considering the Toyo Open Country II in that size as it only weighs 43#'s or the Cooper S/T All Terrain as it weighs 42#'s. I may be off by one pound as I have been looking at a ton of tire combinations. Do you tow anything at all? I have a light 3,000# trailer so I am just a little cautious but I only tow it maybe 4 times a year.

235/85/16 tires are meant for 1-ton dump trucks, most e rated, so towing shouldn't be an issue for you.
