Cracked the touch screen on my factory unit, everything still works except the touch screen. What are my options? I'm hearing going aftermarket unit is not a good idea. Having a tough time locating an unit on Ebay. Anyone have suggestions?
    It's non-nav. Model#510102.

Maybe try calling a local car audio store and see if they have one they pulled out of a customer's vehicle?

When you're angry, and push things hard, it happens. They're not that hard to crack, I've accidentally done it to one before :anonymous:

That looks like the same one that's in the '14s and '15s. I have an extra one that the auto recycler send me that's I'm sending back to them for a refund. If you want it you can have it. PM if your interested.

Tacoma Entune units are available on eBay for less that dealer price.

Entune units for Camary and Scion sell for even less, but are a different unit. I suspect, but don't know for sure, that these other Entunes use the same display. If so you should be able to have a electronics shop swap the displays.

Those screens can be switched out and replaced.

And a screen can get cracked easily while using the touchscreen when a bump occurs.

Some of use want the OEM look and full functions. Also when you trade your vehicle an aftermarket HD can effect resale value on newer vehicles.

I get the whole OEM look, but you can retain most of the functions with aftermarket. I just posted an install were I retained the major functions of the truck. It's an option at least.

Did you ever solve this issue? It looks like you just need to replace the restive touch panel. I have not pulled that exact model of touch screen apart but assuming it is similar to the 2012 touch screen, you will want to replace it with a 4 wire restive touch panel where the ribbon is located at the bottom center like this one:

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/7-Resistive...900393?hash=item58d4d5c0e9:g:IQ8AAOSwuYVWoxxU

I would recommend you carefully remove and inspect the touch panel and make sure you get one with the right ribbon location to avoid any connection issue.

Yeah, I ended up finding same exact model on Ebay. I'll be fixing the cracked screen soon enough and look to get rid of it afterwards.
    Thanks! I'll look into it.
