So Mabel is a Dutch Shepard, holland line for the most part. Her father was national knvp champ in holland. Her mother was a working mal here. So in holland they constantly cross mals and dutchies in their clubs. If they have a mal that has all the drives and a Dutchy that has the gears, pups they will have. Typically it's a mal if it comes out tan and a Dutchy if it's brindle.

Not a huge fan of gsd. Not for police / mwr. They make great pets, decent protection dogs, but they typically can't hold a candle to a clear headed mal or Dutch. The mals and dutchies are a bigger bomb in a smaller package. I've had 2 gsd for patrol work and 2 mals, and the mals outshined all the time. We have a kennel of 18 teams and zero gsd. It's not that we don't test em, we do, but when we test we buy the best they have and typically it's not a gsd.

50,000 volts no light bulb! Haha
But seriously my mal is very clearheaded.
He's 6, only bitten me once or twice at the start of our training. Hasn't bitten an officer and never missed a street bite. I've seen and worked some spastic ass mals.

Hahaha. Not quite. Missing a brand new couch, she got into the plenum box for the hvac 2 days ago and busted the cold air ductwork and made herself a little 4x4x4 cooled dog house. Bit my father in law, (his fault), hits a suit like crazy but we had a training day prior to the picture.

Adorable pics..especially the last one cuddling! My uncle had an albino boxer when we were kids and they always used to steal him thinking he was worth money..then he'd wind up home again when they realized what a goofball he was and no one wanted to buyo_O

Boxers are awesome. I got one for my sister years ago, he's awesome. Just typically so happy going. I don't think I've ever seen a mad boxer. Just wanna play and have fun. Great temperaments.
