Added a 2" leveling kit / changed out front grille / changed out headlights and replaced them with Spyder brand halo/LED headlights / switched out wheels to a 17” black matte finish TRD rims / “debadged” all the chrome emblems / added off-road LED’s lights behind front grille.
I have a 2011 Tacoma and last week I had a 2" leveling kit installed on the front which is now higher then the back. I asked the dealer if this would happen and he said no. Now I have to have a 1 1/2 lift kit put on the back to level it back out. The problem that I'm having is that now it's higher in the front and my truck sounds like it's running rough (struggling). Is it because of the front being higher making something with the computer in the truck think that there's something wrong? And if so, lifting the back up fix it?? Totally stupid on this.

    Thanks,
    Andrew

If you want it to be more level you'll need to raise the rear 1", not 1.5". How is the front end lifted? It sounds like the dealer doesn't know what he's talking about.

Lift won't affect how the engine runs. You are probably hearing the needle bearing in the driver side of the front differential humming. It's a pulsing hum between 30-45 mph.
