    I watched the re-release in the theater... it was amazing, even though GL messed them up with CGI stuff.

    Back in 1996/1997 they had the "digitally remastered (butchered)" ones in theaters for a time. I cut classes three times so I could get tickets to see them. Glad I saw them, though the original ones that were not butchered would have been better.

    I'm waiting for Disney to come around and say they are going to redo the original trilogy... then all hope will be lost. I do hope this new one coming out this year works well for them. I would like to see some smaller standalone movies to fill in the gaps vs. a trilogy all the time.
