Any Roadkill Fans Out There?

Just wondering if anyone else watches David Freiburger and Mike Finnegan on Motortrend's Roadkill web series. Any other fans?

 

I love roadkill. Bigger the better.

 

I love Roadkill, my favorite episode was when they took Mikes Wifes El Camino to Summit Racing and swapped the engine in the parking lot.

 

I do enjoy roadkill, and I like dirty everyday. Most of the motor trend youtube channel is pretty good.

 

Yeah anything that involves an engine swap is pretty fun - see the one where they swapped out the chevy truck engine into the boat so they could drive the boat and then swapped it back to the truck so they could tow the boat home?

 

Dirt Every Day is cool too - those guys come up with some pretty good ideas too like the motor home go kart.

So should they have an episode where they rescue an old Tacoma since Dave loves Jeeps and Mike loves mini trucks?

 

There was a seedy place up in northern Maine when I grew up there called the Roadkill Cafe - apparently some other people like it too lol.

 

It did snow, that was hilarious!

 

First episdode that got me hooked was when they swapped the muscle truck engine into the boat at lake smellsomemore

 

Definitely a fan. The Engine Masters show that Freiberger does is pretty good too.

 

That was awesome! I remember telling my parents about that one. It exemplified how talented / crazy they are. lol

Thanks for the tip on that. I like that show now too. Just watched an interesting one on changes made by bigger camshafts - too bad they don't have that kind of stuff for Toyota V6's lol

 

Since Finnegan is into mini trucks it would be sweet to get TW members to pressure them into doing an episode with an old Toyota or at least a first gen Tacoma

 

Anyone disappointed the Rotsun failed again twice on two consecutive passes? It really is cursed I think - that, or that's what happens if you bolt a bunch of old junk together. Like this episode.

I think Lucky drives a white 1st gen Tacoma

 

I think a 1st Gen 2 or 3RZ, would be best. Easy to source parts for, easiest to build a turbo kit and tune for.

 

Lucky has a cool Chevelle, not sure if he has a Tacoma too.
