    To make along story short Tacoma died, alternator was shot, bought new alternator, still does not keep a charge.... abs, brakes are on, no radio, no heat, no horn, exclamation light on and no speedometer.... checked wires and fuses all looks good what am I missing.... Any help would be appreciated.... Thanks

    when I changed the battery everything worked fine and after driving for awhile shut vehicle off same thing happens lights go on, no radio, no speedometer ... brought the new alternator in to get tested in case I bought default one but it was all good

    I read my codes the only code that is coming up is P0500 which is a speed sensor where is that located? Could this be the problem?

    thats for vehicle speed, I dont think that its connected.

    Ok so I unplugged every wire n cleaned them... the truck is finally up n running now just to figure out why the radio n the clock and the horn still don't work

    you know how many times I checked the fuses lol well when I checked the fuses I had put the fuse in the wrong one clock n radio now work just the horn and I am thinking maybe I have to just buy a new one .... Thank you for all those that commented :)

    Light bar and bumper guard, 3/16 steel skid plates for engine, tranny and transfer box, OME 881 springs with 5100 shocks at mid clip. AAL in rear. Positraction rear diff.
    Test the horn by connecting 12 volts to it.
