Hello, I have a 2016 SR Double Cab and the radio did not come with Sirius. Is there an easy way to add Sirius, without having the portable Sirius receiver and docking station? Just wondering if there is a way to somehow integrate Sirius into the Entune radio that did not originally have it.
    Thanks

I could use the Sirius app and Bluetooth but the app would go through my data quickly.

Opps, sorry forgot not everyone has the old unlimited data plan. I never changed my plan after I got my iPhone in 2010. I stream everything all day long.

Unless your radio came Sirius/XM ready and not activated you are not going to have it. It's an extra module required and not a click of a button type of thing.

I figured it wouldn't be a button click type thing. Is this module something I can get at the dealer or aftermarket location? I would actually prefer the module thing over a hack of some kind.

You're right, I would definitely stream if I had unlimited data.

I'm pretty positive you can get from the stealer. I think you just need a module and button.
Sometimes you can find cheaper entune with built in xm vs buying just a module from the stealer.
    Edit: used of course

That's not exactly how it works from past experience. You either get a new radio installed or find other means. It could have changed since 2012, but you usually bought an aftermarket radio with the antenna module included. Toyota probably won't do this for you but you can try. Why didn't you just buy the trim with the option in the first place? The other option is as 4RnR said and use your smartphone.

I think I found xm modules from Toyota before. I can be wrong though. Also there might be aftermarket modules that is oem style.
