Keep seeing "We". Does that mean you have someone with you? Doesn't it get tight with 2 people in the cab, and sleeping in the bed cap?

I love how this truck looks. It looks so practical and purpose-minded it makes me want a single cab. You're about to prove you can go on awesome adventures without having an "expo build" like so many people on here.

    Sub'd for Alaska.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg Finally got into Fairbanks, AK. Two days on the Alaskan Highway. Camping in the truck isn't bad at all.
There are two of us, both of us are 6ft tall. We just unload the bed, roll out our sleeping matts and bags and grab a few hours at a time. There is plenty of room in the truck to sleep, and it's a lot easier and faster than throwing the tent up.

Could not be more happy with the Treadwright Warden 2's. We have put 4,200 miles in them in 5 days. 1,400 of them being a lot of loose gravel, rough asphalt, and dirt. To make time we have been pushing about 18 hours a day at well over 70mph. The tires don't wander, they are very quiet, and stick to the road like glue.

image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg image.jpg 900+ mile round trip from Fairbanks to Pruhdoe Bay. It only rained for about 700 miles.... But the trip was well worth it. There were amazing views and the challenge of the road is exciting. Gravel, dirt, asphalt, mud, and everything in between.

Once you think you've accomplished something you get passed by a 1929 Model A Roadster Pickup

I've been home for two weeks so I figured I lost a few more pictures. From Pruhdoe Bay we went back to Fairbanks, over to Chicken, AK where we had a few drinks with local gold miners, and then down to Dawson City, YT. At Dawson City we chose to go to Banff National Forrest which was amazing. It was by far some of the coolest country we saw on the tip.

We didn't take a lot of pictures in the way home as we were starting to get tired and covering as much ground as possible. The who,e reason for the trip was to drive the Alaskan Highway and the Dalton Highway. I was an amazing trip, but if I ever do it again it won't be in a regular cab pickup.

As a quick update on the Treadwright Warden 2 tires, the had zero problems. 10,010 miles in 14 days and they handle great! I will be buying these tires again. The tire are wearing very well and I'm expecting about 45,000 miles out of them based n the first 10,000 miles. Made in the USA and about half the price of the bfg all terrains.image.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpgimage.jpg
