CD Player Cycling Issue

Every time I turn the key in the ignition (whether I start the truck or not), my CD player ALWAYS runs through an annoying cycling process lasting a solid 60 seconds or so each time. Sometimes when I start the engine, it'll go through the cycling twice, lasting 2 minutes! WTH!?!?

Does anyone else have this issue? Is it a known issue? I've Googled and searched TW for this issue, and can't find anything yet. It's REALLY annoying, and I'm afraid it's going to wear out the CD player in no time at all.
