Actually Curtis it wasn't me, it was the OP. The guy asked a question, and everyone piled on him.

Wow people. You all are ripping a new member with an innocent function. Yes he could've used the search function but you guys don't need to be jackasses. OP I believe you have 16 inch rims so you should clear a 265/70/16 without doing a lift

Maybe the new guy has a sense of humor and finds the responses quite funny?

265/75/16 is the appropriate answer on 16" wheels with no lift.

I have the same truck RWD. But I have the black wheel package so comes with 265/65/17. I want to go up to a 275/70/17 w/stock suspension w/o rubbing or having to cut. Is this possible? If so what tires should I go with? I want to be different and not go with KO2s so maybe some Nitto Terra Grapplers G2? Don't want mud tires either since it is a daily driver and all hwy driving. Some beefy tires would be a lot nicer.

One of the biggest benefits of the internet is the ease with which one can find just about any information, should one actually give a damn. The more individual sources (like separate threads) on the same subject, the more cluttered things get, the harder it becomes to find worthwhile information.

The OP's laziness is nothing new, but it should not be encouraged. I'm of the opinion that such threads should be instantly locked, and repeat offenders booted for good.

The guy has posted twice.. It's likely just his first forum and he's not sure how to find information. I think it would be more appropriate to not allow new users to start threads until they've reached 50 posts or w/e. That will give them some time to navigate and ask questions. A tutorial on how to use the search box in the welcome message may be helpful as well. My father can barely turn his computer on let alone use a search box efficiently.
