I have a 2015 DCSB TRD o/r (with a topper and sleeping platform in the back) and I have done a bit of searching and most people say that you can run 5100's with the stock coils at 1.75" or even 2.5", but the ride will be pretty stiff on city roads.

My question is: How much worse is it than getting 885's or 887's? Are there drawbacks other than the ride quality? Am I just being overly cheap?
