Did a little wheeling/camping/fishing this weekend up around Mammoth with @at_olw and had a great time! Thanks for the invite Timmy!

Started out by paying a little visit to Bodie Ghost Town. Which turned out to be completely swamped with tourists. We made our rounds and got out of there as quickly as possible!

    DSC00885.jpg
    DSC00892.jpg

Then made our way up Copper Mountain and got a nice view of Mono Lake.

    DSC00900.jpg

After that, we headed up to Kavanaugh Ridge trail and found a nice little camp ground and had the little lake all to ourselves!!

    DSC00905.jpg
    DSC00909.jpg
The next morning Timmy found a trail that wasn't on any map that took us to a pretty sweet lookout!

    DSC00914.jpg
    DSC00921.jpg

We then made our way up Deadman Pass and had a little lunch at the top

    DSC00928.jpg
Before heading over to Laurel Lakes we had to do a little trail repair to put a skid plate back on. Turns out a outlet in the bed can run a drill just fine! The stainless steal hose clamps held up just fine!! HAHA!

Making our way into camp at Laurel Lakes. Another lake camp that had no one else around for miles!

My pup Escher looking like a badger dog!

The next day we headed over to Coyote Flat trail. There was an annoying amount of fullsize trucks and quads on the trail that made the trek out interesting to say the least, but it was worth it in the end!

We ended up finding one of the best campsite of the trip. Definitely in my top 5. The picture does it no justice!

    DSC00990.jpg
The perfect way to end the trip!

Thanks for the invite and mad navigational skills Timmy!!

Looks like you guys hit up some great spots! Funny that you had issues with ATVs on the trail after all the CO BS that Timmy and I faced...but that last camp looks great with the trees and scenery!

Yeah I don't know what it was, but CO was the worst in that respect... the ATVs and the dirtbikes, too. Really took away from a few of the trails we did with their numbers, complete lack of trail etiquette, and disregard for LNT principles like STAYING THE TRAIL.

Yeah, I heard you guys had horrible time with those guys. Kinda seems like ATVs everywhere like to go off tail...

I am no longer able to adjust my drivers side mirror. The passenger side works just fine though. So I guess the switch could be bad of the motor in the mirror itself.

Anybody ever see this or have any advice before I start tearing shit apart?

Have you tried pushing the mirror manually one way or the other to see if it will work then? I know mine got tweaked once and wouldnt move because it had got pushed all the way over and I just centered it and then it worked again

To an extent I did. I tried to move it around manually a bit, but it doesn't seem too displaced for it to be "off track". Or whatever you want to call it. And it didn't help. Plus, it's in an okay position right now so i didn't want to completely muff it up. Haha. That is, until I tear it apart. Lol

Hope you have fun! I haven't been in years, but I hope it stays reasonable cool for you!

Have you tried that with your window?

Hahaha, I was gonna say... you and @at_olw with your fancy powered windows and mirrors that are now malfunctioning and I'm over here like, "Yup, everything works just fine almost 25 years later!"
