    ...^^^... IIRC ... Brumos had a Porsche dealership in Marietta, GA a long time ago ... I believe that I saw that Brumos' sign at a Porsche dealership on Hwy 41 (just north of I-285), up on the hill by the old Richway Store.

    A lot of drivers, mechanics and etc. there ... might have been some type of racing school tied to it too ??

    IIRC ... I was very young and had no money and when I would go to the showroom there, they would watch me like a hawk ... couldn't sit in or touch the cars ... lol ... :eek:

    I don't believe the dealership you are referring to, was owned by Brumos. I'm trying to think of the name of that particular dealer but drawing a blank. That was the only Porsche dealer in town until Jim Ellis opened their location on Peachtree Industrial. Hennessy (the center I work for) opened up 12-13 yrs ago in Roswell.

    ...^^^... I was going to guess Maxwell ... saw a Kissel Kar a few weeks back at a show ... will look for the pic. The one that I saw was not in as good as condition.

    ... ^^^ ... Did the above without Google ... just Googled it and it was a Brumos in 1970's. Maybe where the old (2nd store after store in the Mtta. square area) John Smith Chevrolet was.

    I bought my 3rd Porsche from Bruce Pender at Ellis on PIB. They would allow me to take nice car out on my own when older Ellis was running the show.

    All this (Brumos) was before that.

    I am remembering more now ... Brumos' people in Marietta were friends with the Cobra guy in Kennesaw and they used to hang out together. Cobra guy in Kennesaw was maybe biggest on east coast at the time.

    PS ... Jerry Weiden (4th down) was a super mechanical tech at Brunos' in Marietta (remembering more now) ... http://germancarrepair.com/team/

    Small world. Bruce Pinder works at our location. He's been here longer than I have but I know he'a been with the Porsche brand for a couple centuries. Lol

    We had our club picnic at one of our members place. 5 acres, 4 car main garage and a separate shop that is bigger than my house. Nice, eclectic collection of various cars stuffing them both. I found it hard to leave...
