Anytime I see a cheap junked up 442 I have to look at it. There aren't many 442s left but restoration isn't always possible, and I think this one is beyond saving :(...and my wife agrees.

    What do y'all think?

It's worth about $100 for the occasional part that you might use the restoration of another sample.

The vin plate might be worth having if you are compiling 6 or 7 cars similar to this. Although since the glass is gone, the plate may be already gone too?

If you have a dry barn, lots of time, skill, OE manuals, tools and a wagon full 'o cash, as well as access to several hulls like this, you might make a runner by combining all of them.

Problem is the material/odd parts alone will cost way more than the finished product is worth, unless you are just making an emotional build.

My thoughts exactly. No way I'd pay $1000 for it. I think this one is to far gone for me and my wallet to fix.

Wow that's worse than I expected to see.

If that's all one could afford to start with, and it was a long term project for a tinkerer to tinker with, then sure.

That is about as fuckered as they come without being in a fire, but all that aside.. I've seen more than one stripped out, rusted to shit, parts car turned into a show stopper. Not everybody can afford the nicer shit to start with, so they work with what they get.

Check your skills before your wallet, and proceed as you wish!
