    Spencer, I just saw that you may upgrade to a double cab! Sweet! I bought my '09 double cab a year before my first was born in '10. Both my kids were brought home from the hospital in the Tacoma. :D So awesome! I trust your plan will work great.

    I have a question for you related to your old and new suspension. I have the OME nitro charger shocks and OME 885 springs. I like the springs, but I hate the shock. I want to burn it with fire. When I off road there is not enough travel in the shock and it keeps hitting the internal stop making noise and beating the crap out my truck. So as I understand it the bilstein shock has 1" more travel and may not make that sound.

    Is your experience the same? Did you have that problem with the nitrocharger shock? And did that problem go away when you switched to the 5100?

    I already bought my new truck… I am fired up to start working on it! Although I will miss my old truck I am excited about starting a family with my wife.
    I did have the same problem with my nitros making noise. I am not absolutely certain that it was the shocks bottoming out. I always thought it was the upper control arms hitting on the coil's. Once I switched my upper control arms I never had that problem again. Not sure if it was the bilsteins or the upper control arms that fixed it.
