    Hey everyone,

I just bought my first Tacoma. A 2011 TRD Off-road V6 4x4 access cab. I want to ask for any tips to get the most out of it and make it last forever!

    Thanks in advance!

    :hattip:Welcome.
Won't last that long, but with proper care and feeding it should last you a long time.

The biggest tips off the top of my head........

Keep it well serviced and it will treat you well. If you have no service history, I'd replace all the fluids so you have a starting point, a baseline. Examine and service the brakes if needed, make sure all systems are in working order.

Learn about the contents of the different forums here, and learn how to use the search feature.

Determine how the vehicle will be used 80-90% of the time, not what you 'might' do sometime.

Before changing anything ask yourself if that will make your 80% use better in some way. If not, reconsider.

Don't use cheap stuff on your vehicle. (That's different than a good deal). If a change you want to make is expensive with the right parts, and you are short on funds, save up and do it right. Don't let the instant gratification control your choices.

Now go wax your door jambs. The #1 step in a good detail :D
