    Jet makes sure I stay alert on the 15 and a half hour drive to the cottage by having me patt her the entire time. If the hand stops patting, she nudges it expertly so that it lands perfectly in head scratch position.

    Silky soft, and she nevers stinks like dog. I swear she could roll in shit (not that she would ever do such a thing) and end up smelling of lavender potpourri.

    The rescue told us that the black dogs take the longest time to adopt out. Jett was in foster care for 9 months. Not sure why this is? She's the sweetest, most easy going dog I've ever met. And with the white tuft on her chest, she's always dressed for a formal event...looks like she's wearing a tux.

    haha..I wish my dogs would smell like lavender potpourri!! Wet dog is usually the scent I get these days in Hawaii.
    Never understood that about black dogs and cats..makes no sense! They say certain cultures like to eat the black ones out here in the islands..but refuse to believe..if only 4 my own sanity.
