I have a 13 DCSB and pulled the plug under the seat and no more beep, no codes or lights, my guess is its a normal closed switch so it reads clicked when unplugged.

This appears to be a good deal, because the hardware supports the 64bit drivers and are included.

With the 32bit version (Amazon), you have to fake the 64bit drivers by fooling with the Windows registry. Not fun.

EXACTLY! That, along with the newer version of Techstream (v10.30.29), is why I went this one. (FWIW, it ran seamlessly on a 64-bit Windows 10 laptop for me.)

Roof Light bar, ditch lights, wheel well mounted rock lights, PA system.
I took mine to Jim Hudson Toyota in Irmo, SC to get rid of the beep. They told me no, and i asked them "I know that you can, would you please check again?" Jason went to his manager, and then came back and said "oh, yeah. they will. my bad."

So, dont take no for an answer.

The ignition on off hold the button thing didn't work on my 2011. (white face guage cluster) or at least I never could get it to work.. Tried ODO trip a and trip b. Holdin it in for 10, 20, 30. Pluggin seatbelt.. Nothing ever did anything.. sooooooooooo. I unplugged it under the seat, No More beep, No more light flashing on the dash.. As mentioned it seems to be a normally closed circuit, and plugging in the belt opens it. That's the only possible explanation.

Just take your manual with you to the dealer and show them where it states the beep can be disabled. That's what I did after they said no and they did it immediately.

I unplugged mine too after dealer refused to do the disable. You cannot do the passenger side. If I carry something heavy in seat on that side I just fasten the belt. Same when I take son or daughter to hunting ranch.

My next question was about the passenger side, but you answered it. If you hunt or ranch with your truck with the seat belt chime enabled, it will drive you to drink.

I had to program a key the other day so while I was hooked up I disabled the seat belt chime. That alone was worth buying the cable!

hey guys there was a thread disusing this a while back. I know it works on 2nd gens. I've copied the instructions

    1) Turn the Car 'ON', but do not start the engine (Leave your foot off the brake). Cycle your trip reset knob until it reads ODO. Turn the ignition back off. Wait a couple of seconds.
    2) Make sure seat belt is not fastened
    3) Turn the ignition back on, do not start the car (Leave you foot off the break) As soon as you see everything light up, press and hold the trip reset knob and do a long 12 second count.
    4) Keep your finger on the trip reset knob. Fasten your seat belt, as soon as you fasten your seat belt, you should see the ODO display go from XXXX miles to "b-on". At that time take your finger off the trip reset knob and press it again. It should cycle to "b-off". You should be all set and turn the ignition off and unfasten your seat belt.

    Hope it helps
