Dealer "on a hold with Toyota." What does that mean?

    My ETA for delivery to dealership was 8/26 so its arrived early.

    Congrats man, that's awesome! How long was it from when you told him you wanted it, to when they found you an allocation?

    I knew the truck was allocated there before I put the deposit on it. Someone on this thread explained how the process works and I can concur.

    What you really need to know is what the percentage of TRD Pro are they actually going to make. Out of 120,000 trucks if your under 1/2 % thats 6,000 a year, 500 a month and I doubt there will be that many. A low volume dealer will be lucky to get 1 a month.

    Good point! How does one figure out what the gross yearly allocation for the PROs are?

    I want to say around 2000 pros are made a year and about 10% are manual so you would be looking at 200 manual Pros a year. I might have made that up but I bet it's not far off...I think the actual numbers have been discussed some where on this forum
