Nope you can tell from the color of the stove pipe single walled, and well used. The tent is made for a wood stove. When it is below zero and straight line winds are 40-60 mph at night and sound like a freight train coming at you it is best to clean it out in the mornings though due to creosote build up.

Of course I use a Carbon Monoxide detector in the tent too. Interesting that many people will tell you how unsafe a big buddy heater is in a tent. I have never have had it go off with the big buddy. But with the wood stove it can go off quite a bit. Which is sort of a General Quarters drill, get up and ventilate the tent as fast as possible. The Big Buddy is dog approved too! This is the old boy with his "pacifier" Only stuffed animal that he never chewed up and shredded. He would mouth it and fall asleep which is nice in close quarters.

I hear you... Know that political post are not well tolerated here so will say it the best I can. I grew up in the North but lived quite awhile in the South and realized that the unprovoked Northern Aggression against the South was not about Slavery, but about individual and States rights. Exactly what this Country was founded on.

Was talking to an older gentleman one day and he said damn, I didn't figure you out for a Yankee your just from up North. I said hey both my sons were born in the South. He stared at me for a good minute, then spit a huge wad of chew out on the sidewalk. Then said just cause a cat climbs in the oven and has kittens don't mean we call them biscuits. He continued to look at me and I looked him back in the eye without saying a word. Finally he said well you and your boys will do. It is one of the greatest compliments I have recieved in my life.

People can be strange. They grow up and in live in one area there whole life. Especially some of my Hispanic friends and co-workers. When I tell them I'm heading here or there (NC, WV, Ca, Co) by car they're completely shocked. Some of them live in the Miami area and have never even traveled 2 counties north but been all over South American.

Night y'all. Lol. I'll be in Ga and NC over the next few day for some Downhill MTBing. I'll check-in in the evening if possible. Hopefully in one piece. Haha

Yeah political views are too different area to area. Let's just say we have a right to like Tacomas. I live in one of the most left leaning states and the pc stuff is out of hand. But if we go down this road we won't like what is at the end of it.

The frame on my truck looks like brand new. It's not. It was one of the last 2011's built. I live in an area where they throw salt on the roads almost daily during winter months. All I do is wash the salt off as soon as temperatures permit. I have never done anything to treat the frame. As far as I know, I will not be doing anything different than what I have done so far.
