I'm adding some LED hideaways to my Tacoma. Is there a "firewall" type of hole under the seat in the Second Gens? Just asking now before I take out both car seats tomorrow looking. I know my First Gen had one on the driver side.

I'd like to run the wire from the LEDs from the rear taillight, follow the frame and up into the cab..I already have a switch box mounted.

    thanks

Sure is! Look under the truck around where the rear drivers side persons feet would be. There's a couple grommets about 2" in diameter. Can't miss them.

awesome. figured I'd ask here before taking out seats and what not. I know in my First Gen it ran up into the little storage compartment in the rear. I'll look at it tomorrow. thanks.

Pull up the plastic strips on the carpet edge on driver side, pull up the carpeting a bit under the driver seat, you should see a grommet with a wire bundle goeing through. Poke your wire through that.

The same shit everyone else has.
Yep. No need to remove seats to get to it either. Crawl under the truck on the driver side, and look between the frame rail and rocker panel. Youll see the grommet - cant miss it. Thats the one.
