    Hello -

After a few years of wanting a Tacoma, I finally pulled the trigger and picked up a new to me
2014 4 Door Long Bed TRD Sport in White.
It had 16044 miles when I drove it off the lot.
In the near term, I am looking at a few cheap mods.
    1. I will do the tail gate theft prevention one as soon as I make it over to home depot to pick up a stainless steel lock ring or two and dedicated nut driver to keep in the truck.
    2. I ordered Weather Tech floor mats, should be here sometime this week.
    3. Order a canvas tool bag for tool storage and organization. Should be here this week.

Over the next few years or so I am planning the following $$$ mods:
    1. Replace the stock rear view mirror with one that has HomeLink, a temperature sensor and a compass. I've been reading over the threads which contain info and links to buy, so that will probably be sometime in the next couple of months. Would like opinions on the best one / place to get.
    2. Replace the side mirrors with heated ones, again I've been reviewing that thread. I think I will go with the mirror replacement switch option, 15 minute timer. Hope to get that done before winter, but it may slip until next spring / summer.
    3. Shell. Looking at the different options and I think I've decided that I like the "high backed" version the best. Looking for opinions and a general idea of price. This one will likely be at least 12-18 months down the road just due to cost.
    4. New Rims and tires when the current tires wear out. I really like the look of the TRD black ones, so that will likely be what I go with. Looking at either Toyo Observe GSI5 or Open County AT II for shoes. I have Toyo's on both of my Subaru's now and I don't think I would go with anything else. Every set I've had, back to my 99 Grand Am have been amazing and well worth the initial investment.
    5. Once I get the Shell on it, I will likely build a couple of bed compartments which will be level with the wheel wells. I have a lot of time to plan that, so I will be watching threads and reading over stuff to get the best ideas.
