I made a thing for switches because the thing I wanted didn't exist.

Since Carlingtons wouldn't fit does anyone know of higher rated Toyota sized switches? All the ones I find are rated at 3 Amps and need relays. If there where ones rated higher then things like LED Pods, and rock lights wouldn't need relays.

Looks good, been meaning to build an Ascender kit for a while now, but I may forgo that in favor of the new SCX10-2.

Don't waste your money, all the scx10-2 is, is scx10 with the some (not all the upgrades) to make it contend with the ascender.

Billing and shipping address must be in the same country. Sigh... guess we Canadians who wish to ship to the USA are screwed.

I just wrote Shapeways asking them why this policy. My family has spent thousands of dollars this year alone shipping products to the UPS store in Ogdensburg, NY, a 40 minute drive from my house in Ottawa, so we can avoid paying outrageous brokerage fees incurred if you ship directly to Canada. I have seen friends pay $50-60 in fees for a $5 part. It's ridiculous. You can ship to a border town, drive across, and broker the items yourself on the way back, for free.

Bonus: I get to eat at Phils Diner when I go to Ogdensburg... one of the best "greasy spoon" diners around.

Do you mean a momentary switch where it is on only when held down and when you release the switch it is off? If so, I haven't seen any but I'll keep a look out.

how'd you mount the battery isolator switch?

also does anyone have any info on how to get the cubby out?
I just want to know what I do so I don't start trying to pry it out or something and do it wrong and fuck everything up.

The panel that holds the cubby simply pops out, just work it gently with a panel pry tool.

I added a new variant today at the request of a TW member. 1st post updated with the final part, a plate for two switches and two keystone jacks. This is the pre-production version with a single keystone, in the final version the keystone is rotated 90° CCW and stacked with a second jack:

Ham radio mics almost always (can't think of any exceptions off the top of my head anyway) use RJ style connectors.
