Just upgraded to 3rd Gen

Just traded my '13 for a '16 TRD OR. I've got a lot to do with the new one to get it how I want it.

Looking at lift options and can't seem to find any solid answers on what I'm looking for. I'm doing an overland build and want 3" up front and 1.5" in back. Will be putting SOS Concepts bumpers and sliders on with a winch up front. No one can tell me the best lift option for that combo.

I'll also be putting a bed rack and RTT on in the next few months.

The wheels I'll be putting on are SCS F5's and will likely run 32" STT Pros.

You paid for a cover to remove it and install a bed rack?

 

That 13 Prerunner impressed me. It was my 5th Tacoma and 1st 2wd and it hung with the 4wd's pretty well.

 

Nice Color choice, as for the suspension lift. Fox has a 3" in the front and a leak pack in the rear can give you the 1.5" you are looking for.

 

The covers come standard with the Tech package

 

I've looked at that one but can't get anyone to tell me how much preload I'm gonna need to keep it 3" with 200 pounds of bumper and winch up front.

 

That's my concern also. Does Fox have different springs?

 

Didn't want the cover and it'll get used when the rack and tent arent installed. I'm not going to run around town all the time in full overland mode.

 

You mean you wont be that guy driving around town with shovels, hi-lifts, multiple fuel cans, and a trasharoo hanging off the back all the time? Lol

I don't think this is true. The tonneau cover is an independent option that can be had with or without the tech package and vice versa.

 

Every Tacoma on the dealer lot had them.
