Feels great to be one of "5" Seahawks fans from before 2006. I miss walking around the outer access to 300 level in the Kingdome to watch the Hawks beat the division Raiders back when they were good. I've been a life long fan.. Family season ticket holder from before 2000 to 2006. It'll be fun to watch the 49er fanbase continue to dwindle for consecutive years (...then start winning games and say "we were always fans!")

Good news for the Niners. It sounds like Mark Sanchez may soon be available.

I don't think Elway's QB on the cheap is going to cut it this year.

The fan base won't dwindle, but people will stop showing up at Jeds piece of shit stadium. Jed and Trents team is not good. And they are to blame. I've been a fan since I was a little kid. My dad, and grandfather were fans before me. Granddad lived across the street from Kezar. I can't afford to go to games at Jeds place. Wayyyyyyy to expensive. So, just because the stadium isn't full doesn't mean folks have abandoned the team.

I used to love the Niners. Then Eddie Debartolo had to turn over the team to good old sis who with her gold digging husband have driven the team into the ground by putting their silver spoon eating son in control. My recollection of the events may be off but I am close enough.

POS stadium??? isn't that thing only 2 years old, and they hosted a superbowl last year? i'm sure it is far from a POS. have you been to Oakland, or San Diego. Those are POS stadiums.

It's not in San Francisco. There's no parking. There's no breeze, so half the people roast in August, September. The turf problem has not really been solved, though it's better than the beginning. Yes, I've been to Oakland and San Diego. Yes, it's better than those two. Still, F Jed.

It's a great venue, but not a great football stadium. Too many amenities away from the seats that make viewers want to get out of their seats.

I'll be in a suite tonight watching them against the Packers. I can almost guarantee that I'll be the only one in there cheering and actually watching the game
