I ordered mine through weather tech, or go to Total Truck Accessory Center, they're a dealer for Weather tech

They sure can be clowns over there, balanced my wheels one time and put one of the stick on weights to where it was rubbing my caliper

To be fair they did fix it for free. But still would have rather not dealt with it. Simple case of carelessness by the tech, didn't pay attention and opened the hood too fast and far and put the light into the windshield.

Yo, you alaska savages! I'm planning a trip up there with my wife next spring. Already have our plane tickets, but just wanted to throw out the bat signal and see if anyone could recommend things to do/see up there in the month of march. We're just in the planning stages of things to do and we will be up there for about a week. We're flying into Anchorage from Portland and I definitely want to head up to Fairbanks to maybe catch some good shots of the aurora borealis. (One of the biggest reasons to go up there IMO) Cant wait to see that countryside up there and get some good shots with my camera. Any input or idea's you guys might have is definitely appreciated. We are just trying to figure out how to make the most use of our short time up there. Thanks!

Yeah it's definitely something I would not want to deal with. Especially when you need your truck to drive and now it's even more delayed cuz of complacency. This is what makes me want to do all my own work. Lol

I only went there for my first 5 oil changes because they were $free.99 All the other work I did up there was a combination of me and the peeps on here.

These got delivered last night and installed shortly afterwards. Nice, painless hour worth of work. Found the drivers side shock was completely blown after pulling it off the truck. It would slide in and out with no resistance. OEM Bilstein with less than 42k miles on it. I don't know how long the truck was lifted prior to me buying it but I've only put about 4400 miles on it in the year I've owned it and done no abusive off-road driving. Overall the extended 5100s are a huge improvement over washboards and bumps.

I followed @300AACTaco's footsteps and headed up north this weekend with my wife. The weather was excellent, the roads clear and traffic light so the drive from my house in Fairbanks to Galbraith Lake only took about eight hours. I hadn't driven north of Livengood before this and didn't expect the Dalton to be as well maintained or have as much pavement as it does. Either people I've talked to have been exaggerating how bad it was or I got lucky and went through after they did a lot of work.

Anyone have a flat bed trailer or a car hauler? My friend Carlos is looking to pick up a 98 4runner that needs some work from the valley and bringing it to anchorage. If he does pick it up, we will be looking for parts for it. Front end damage. Both front fenders, hood, front subframe, radiator, headlights, grill, ect...
