I shaved the quote LOL--the gas tank skid. I've already tried to test fit mine by lifting into place and the studs don't cleanly match up with the holes in the skid.

 

anyone have a link to were i can start buying some skids?

I have sos concept skids well.. Everyone they make along with their sliders. I also have a 4x innovations gas tank and lca skid.

 

The gas tank skid fit for me as far as the holes... It helps to be on an empty tank (more flex in the tank I think) have a jack with a 2x4 to disperse weight to hold it up and another closer to the holes to press it hard enough up to get enough thread to show through the holes. I barely got it on...

 

All the maintenance was done today along with a deep tissue massage this morning

Should've had the massage afterwards.

 

Would have been smart. but I slept weird or something sunday night and jacked my neck up. I haven't been able to move my head since MOnday morning, and my head was stuck forward of where it should be and unable to move it easily/ without pain. So I needed to take the soonest appointment I could get.

Also, I forgot how terrible gear oil smells.

 

FJ definitely needed the gear oil change, front and rear diffs had water in them. Not sure how the damn front get water in it, I thought the breathers were pretty high already from the factory for the Tcase and front diff. TCase gear oil looked nice and golden brown though, so I guess that's a plus.

 

Agree. Man that smell gets stuck around in my nose for days.

It's also going to stick around my driveway for a while since I got a little over zelous with the impact taking off the rear diff drain and probaby lost a good quart before I could get the pan under it

Amazon picked them all up to have a show exclusive to Prime Video.
