Hey I have a 1997 Tacoma regular cab 4x4 sitting on 31" tires with no lift. I was wondering what was the best suspension lift under $400 and I was also wondering what is the tallest and widest set of tires I could get without having to regear?

If leveling the truck is your overall goal, you can get some spacers or Bilstein's for all 4 corners.

If your goal is to go bigger than that, no, there is no lift kit under $400.

I've seen 2.5"-3" suspension lifts for under $300 and I was thinking about getting one of those and then later in getting a 3" front leveling kit and a 2" rear leveling kit.
