On my way to Mobile for the first day of my new job!

I can't remember who is from Mobile, but I was wondering what is some things I can do while I'm down here this week. What's some good places to eat and get a beer?

 

I live in Mobile (not from here) you can go to the battleship museum to kill some time and good eating would be Dreamland for BBQ, Fuegos for Mexican, The boiling pot for sea food (cheap), Felix's for seafood (expensive).

 

Do we want to have a truck meet after work this week in Mobile?

 

Anyone know someone with a camper top that would fit an 02 with a 6.2 bed? Been on the lookout. Thanks yall

 

Caught me a Spanish mackerel within 15 mins of fishin it's been prolly 10 years since I caught a fish out the ocean so even tho it was a little one it made my day it's been a pretty fun trip and I'm heading home in the morning

I'm afraid I might miss you on this trip, plans tonight and tomorrow packing up for my solo adventure up in the Talladega NF. Does it look like you'll be moving down here full time?

 

Have fun! I won't be able to make that trip this time Btw. I will be working from home in Birmingham. I am training down here for a few weeks then just back every now and then for meetings.

 

There is also this going on for Labor Day weekend in MS.

 

I've seen pinecones and leaves falling. I think we all know what that means..

 

@O906 fyi there is going to be a huge group riding there this weekend for the peach state overland benefit ride. They are starting on the lower sylacauga side. So beware it will be a very lon slow ass day prolly about a mile long convoy

 

Thanks for looking out. I got word of their trip earlier today and I think I'm going to miss them because I'm going to git 600-1 and 600-2 on Friday they're hitting the trails on Saturday.
