Maybe it's a regional thing. I've seen plenty of TRD OR 4x4 with Premium/Tech w/o the cover.

but.. i've never seen a Limited w/o the cover.

A new bolt here, a new bolt there, a new bolt everywhere.
You are correct, it was a build sheet request for the Tacomas on there lot. 100% of the Tacomas on there lot with PT would have the tonneau cover

Does anyone know if the low profile Baja flat rack will interfere with the sunroof operation. Just realized mine has a sunroof.

So glad they had the manual ACLB available in Canada this year when I bought mine, I love it. I hear it's not an option for 2017 models in Canada either.

If I had known that it was available for 2016 up there, I might have needed to take a trip to Canada, oh well.....

I'd advise lifting the front and rear equally, as the 3rd gen comes leveled stock.

I don't understand why so many people on TW are so negative toward pre-runners. Not saying that you guys are, I just read a lot of 4wd vs 2wd douchebaggery. My '16 is my 6th Tacoma. The 13' which was 2wd and the only 2wd Tacoma I've owned was built properly had no problems doing stuff the 4wd's did, sure it took some momentum and throttle but it did the job. I own 40 acres near Alpine, TX and the prerunner never once gave me an issue in the rocks and dirt out there and never ever got stuck in any mud hole that I wasn't too stupid to avoid. I loved that truck and had a lot of time and money invested in it to make it right and had a shit ton of fun making the 4wd guys scratch their heads wondering how the hell a 2wd just did what they were doing. Anyway, out with the old and in with the new. This '16 TRD OR is about to get built and come February, it should be all done and ready for Moab in May 2017!

After all day researching and getting quotes, this is what I'm doing with the new one:

Icon Stage 3 kit with UCA's
    SCS F5 wheels
    255/75/17 STT Pros
SOS Concepts front and rear bumpers, sliders, and bed rack
    Baja low pro flat rack
    CVT RTT and awning
    On board air
    On board water
    ARB fridge
New grille (haven't figured out which one yet)

Should be set after all this is complete!

Mine came with the cover. I even told the dealer I didn't want it. But when my truck showed up sheet said it was standard. I live in south Florida as well maybe it is a regional thing. BTW my bed rack and RTT should arrive tomorrow!

Just got my 05 back after 6 months for frame rust recall. Drove a 2016 sport TRD color quicksand. Loved it for 6 months but was surprised that my 05 was much quicker. Gonna run the into the ground before I spring for a new one. New frame, a arms, leaf springs and exhaust. Yesssss!

Not sure.. I have a Prinsudesign rack which is adjustable and works fine with the sunroof.
