That was the trick, used a longer Allen wrench for more torque and it tightened up good, thanks again

I just ordered a retrofits kit to replace the headlights and was trying to decide what to do on the stock fogs. I'm glad I found this thread and I went through the entire thing from start to finish.

    -Awesome work and incredible price
-Sorry about the stolen truck, I have been there and it's just one of those things that those people have what's coming for them and I am sorry for them. What was the final outcome of the recovery? Is it time for a new one or are you trying to work with what came home?

I'll be placing my order her shortly for my '12, my question for those who have purchased ahead of me:

Does anyone regret not going Amber or White having purchased one or the other? Where I am in the South we don't have a lot of snow, so I'm leaning toward white...however I really like the look of the Amber.

    Thanks for your feedback.

I went with amber to match the LED bulbs and raptor mod on my grill. The harness Chris sent was perfect. Just solder and shrink wrap. Too easy! Now I need to find the anytime fog mod. I live in the south now so the Amber is more for show. The LED light bar comes in handy every morning to avoid deer.

    Same as everybody else...
I planned on getting these for Christmas but I'm not sure now. Looking at these pics and the obvious high quality of the product I think I'm going to pull the trigger next payday.

I went and picked up my brackets/fogs yesterday. Very stout and great craftsmanship as always!

I have an H11 harness already. My question is how to solder up the H11 harness to the led's. Which coloured wires of the factory wiring do you match up?

Red on ?? and black on ?? :notsure:

Replied to your PM. But just to share on here for everyone. I suggest doing a simple twist together connection with the LED and pigtail before any mounting. Twist the wires together, plug it in and hit the switch. If that doesn't work then flip flop the wires and re-test just to make sure. You will also have a lot of extra wire between the LED and pigtail so it makes for a good opportunity to measure wire lengths and decide if you want to shorten anything up.

Just pulled the amber trigger for my '12.
I went with amber due to snow and heavy fog in my area.
    Can't wait!

... I installed my Apex 18 watt amber fogs and mounts yesterday. The wife actually likes this mod!

Yes... the ultimate reason I started shopping for fogs was that I shattered my driver's side fog while off-roading in Azusa CA.
