Got a cheap set of RGB rock lights on cyber monday. Thought I'd get them installed today. Here's what's in the kit.



All the wires are the same length for each light. The way I figured it, if I mounted the controller in the engine bay, I wouldn't have enough wire to get to the right rear..plus I'd have tons of "extra" to tuck somewhere for the fronts. I decided to mount it mid chassis like this.



I used 3m NASA shit style double stick tape to mount it



First I decided to add a metripack connector so I could just run power up to the RTMR.



I mounted the controller on the left so I ran the wires for the right side over the driveshaft across the cross member then split off to the front and rear through the convenient holes.



I've got some more pictures to take so this will do for now. Updates tomorrow if all goes well.

 

Yo, @diverdale stop slacking and finish updating with info from your rock lights mod! I want to see where you mounted the pods so I know where to mount mine.

 

yup...will do man. Been too cold lately. I'll snap some pics of the location(s) this weekend.

 

Ok it’s hard to tell but here’s a pic of one front and one rear. Basically the rear mounts to the front of the arch and the fronts mount to the rear of the arch
