Pretty sure my STI is worth slighty more right now than what I paid for it

    Nothing
Duratracs are the only tire that will touch my truck as long as I own it.
On my second set. Last set was 285/75/16 on my last Tacoma 3 inch lift. They were about half tread when I traded it in. Hardly ever used 4wd on the same muddy trails up camp.
I currently have 265/75/16 on with no lift. I see no reason to change what has worked for me. I don't off road a lot but I'd rather have good tires and not need them than the other way around.
Price is the only downside I have found.

It still looks pretty good now! Those tires really fill things out nicely. But damn dude, before? That thing was bad ass. But NooooOOOOOoooo, you just had to let practicality win over!!

So, it seems like(more or less, the Duratracs are the popular choice. They definitely look the best, no doubt about it.

Just playing around and running some numbers brought me these figures

All P tires, all 265/70/17, all come as 4 tire package:

    Goodyear Wrangler Duratracs:$767.88
    General Grabbers:$592.00
    Falken Wild Peak AT: $552.00

Would those who recommended the Duratracs stick with their decision? Are they worth that additional $200 or so?

I have to option to work from home fairly regularly, and my drive to work is from Northside and into Robinson. I seldom spend greater than an hour or so in my truck at any given time. Any longer trips are normally done in the fiance's Honda HRV-which, might I ad, is the most fun, pansy ass crossover "suv" I've ever encountered. They really give you a lot of vehicle for the moey. The interior really is stellar. There are a few things Toyota should borrow from Honda, that being one of them. Trucks.......not so much.

P.s. Do you know a certain Ex-49er-turned Pittsburgh City Fire Fighter by the name of Dave?

I like my Firestone Destination A/Ts. Price was right. Decent millage warranty. Do good in snow. Plus, they're pretty quiet. just another option.

Jeez fellas, thanks for narrowing it down for me!

Considering i'm getting married, just dropped $900 and change on some new Ray 10s, on top of the $1200 or so I donated to Headstrong for my 6112/5160 struts/coilovers and my 3 leaf AAL......maybe I should start cutting a few corners? Haha.

Can anyone chime in about the long term ability and longevity on those Wild Peaks? They weren't even on my radar until a few days ago! Pics are encouraged, my friends!

The AT3w is fairly new so you aren't going to see many long term reviews of them.

But also keep in mind if brand a tire lasts a lot longer than tire b it means it's compound is harder which generally means it has less grip.

I can't speak for them long term. I got them just before winter last year. They did great in the snow for me. And I like that they're quiet. My Nittos didn't last for shit. I'll never buy those again. Did great in the snow, but because the rubber is soft. So they wear quick.

I just put over 1200 miles on em on vacation and they did just fine. :D
