Zuk shows plenty of installs using solid spacers. Is this a recent change? Does he have a forum or blog he chats on?

No front arb or locker up front. Just rear arb.

Never had a problem but now is the time to upgrade if I want to. Front range Offroad I think could hook me up with a kit for the 8" @Front Range Off Road is running on on his 3rd gen 4Runner.

Shit, now I'm going to be worried about my front end.. SC been in for a while, but 35s should come soon. Planning on putting 4.88 in the front, back has 4.86 +ARB. May just have to rely on the 9" to get me home if I nuke the front.

 

You didn't mention it, but option #2 also means having to regear the rear again, to 4.88s, correct?

IMO, its a no brainer, #1.

Here are some close-up (as close as the lenses would focus) pics of the thread end of Franks failed pinion. I am wondering if somehow that staked nut wasn't pulled/yanked off the end of the pinion? Is that even possible?
