I just need to find some fog lights that can fit in the 6" long 1.75" wide strip. Oh, and they have to have a way to mount back there...

    The hunt begins.. :spy:

What should I do with the hanging wires if I do decide to take the lights off instead of trying to fix the one?

Took a good few hours but I got the fenders on. Still have some stuff to do to them before they are done. Plan to get a prerunner bumper soon. Anyway I'm glad of the progress so far. Got a pic of before the fenders. Hood with hood scoop is still in transit!

Agreed, I think if you showed some sort of effort to have the wires zip tied and then taped somewhere on the inside it will give the impression you plan to do this long term. After the inspection, bust the wires back out.

There are tons of options for this look around you may have to trim or cut the current opening but I am sure you can find something...

Being fog lights, they don't have to be expensive lights do they? Just bright enough to shine on the road I'm guessing

I wouldn't think so and you could mount them anywhere other then back into the opening there now....Options are endless

So I can't mount them in those openings? I'd eventually like to get a light at or two and mount them to the bumper somewhere for more of off-roading lights, but...priorities lol

You could mount them in the opening you currently have but if you wanted to go outside the current set up the options are endless with light options....

Fellas, I put the new 2016 TRD Sport wheels on my '08 before I put the truck on the local market next week. What do you think? Based on the slight body changes from Gen 2 to Gen 3, it can almost pass as a 2016!

When I get back if you want to stop by we can make the openings bigger for easier to find lights, nothing a hack saw won't fix.

My kids and I were just talking about Helen Keller last night! I haven't seen or heard her name in such a long time and now twice in two days!
