I gotta say, I usually think builds like this are ugly as all hell, especially on Tacomas... but I can make an exception for this one. Super clean looking, and not overwhelming on the color scheme. Looks good OP, just not something I'd do on my truck personally. As long as you enjoy it, then let the haters hate all they want!

Eh, it's about the same as it ever was on this site. You might get more positive comments on the street truck subforum. Honestly, if I had a big SUV or sedan I would go for a similar look.

Oh, people hate on the 2.7l just as much...

Kinda strange that you brag that you have over $30k in tires and wheels.

I love a good billet. This is my first 4x4 but everything else I've had has been bagged so billets hold a special place in my heart haha. The cost of them keeps most people from running them and because of that they don't understand the special care that must be taken to keep them looking nice. Most of the full size guys (around here) build theirs on billets. But that same crowd also are only mall crawlers, which is fine, so there isn't much worry about bending, scratching, or "turning" the aluminum.

Not a big fan of that style. But it looks like you put alot of work and passion into it and i can definitely appreciate that. Nice truck man. Do your own thing and dont listen to the haters.

I see a lot of truck like that, where I live. It is not my thing but I can appreciate it. It seems to be getting to be a more popular type of look. I think your truck looks clean and it sits cool, for that type of a build.

Money is meaningless without style. A trailer park lottery winner is still white trash.

Looks like it. Trolls are everywhere. The OP has worked hard building and paying for his truck just like the rest of us. IMO it doesnt matter if its not what everybody likes....he likes it and thats what matters.

Agreed. But the fact he commented, then went back and quoted him and replied at a later time. Just trying to stir the pot.

He probably saw post #1, commented, then continued reading and commented again. It just took him 30 minutes to read all the way to page 2. That's that Florida education system at it's finest.
