New to the forum. How come NM doesn't get it's own link on the regions? I had to hunt for it a little.

Well it's a hard sell to get those shocks returned. Most companies will say if there is nothing wrong, then they are yours. Not sure where you got them, asking about the return policy way answer your question for you... Don't sell, you will lose a bunch of money...

Posted some stuff in the NM Flea Market with rather killer prices... Just saying

As far as my truck goes, insurance is still dicking me around. Probably going to consult with a lawyer tomorrow. Thinking I am gunna go full cheese ball and see what Keller & Keller have to offer. They do have the sweat billboards and commercials haha. If anyone has a recommendation I am listening. From my reading it looks like the insurance company is failing to work within "good faith" which is also up to interpretation. If they are and the lawyers feel strong, I am sure they will jump on it. If I am just being over board, they will tell me too. I am not expecting much but I figured a talk wouldn't hurt anyone.

That said, I have also decided 100% the truck will be sold after I get it back. The plan is to drive it for a month, shake lose any issue that can be covered by warranty, and then let it go at whatever loss there is. I have faith that the repair shops will do a great job and everything will be fixed, but I know it will never be mine again. Add in the crazy amount of stress and negativity that has come along with the insurance company and well, I know I will resent the damn thing and it will never be mine again no matter how hard I try.

In all seriousness, if anyone is interested, this could be a great deal because you don't have the attachment I have to it. Beside the body damage that will be fixed the truck is perfect. 70K miles, great maintenance records, all that stuff. If nobody on here wants it I will more than likely be selling off most of the big ticket items. Full Icon suspension, SCS wheels and maybe my BFG tires, though those will more than likely go on the new rig. Nothing is for sale right now, but just a heads up.

I will also be in the market for some replacement parts. Truck will more than likely go on 5100's to keep it semi lifted and get some different wheels and or tires. Might leave the SCS wheels on it, they do look awesome on there! I will be open to some stuff down the road, so think about it, might be a good chance for someone to jump up a tire size for little cash or something. I don't want to make any deals yet, because there is so much in the air still. I just hope that the added extra effort will allow the next rig to get modded a fair amount. Anyone see jberry's 4Runner....

I used Keller & Keller when I got taken out on my Ducati; they were fair, did a good job, and I did as well as I could have, I think. My ex is an attorney, and she recommended them to me. Attorneys aren't cheap, though, as I'm sure you're aware of.

Well the case would be a failure to use "good faith" which means the insurance company will be paying me cash for failing to do a good job. It shouldn't be connected to my repair. So in theory it's extra money anyways. I honestly don't care about the money, I just want them to do their job. So if they take a large amount of the extra money, it means nothing to me. If they had it resolved in a week I would be inclined to give them all of it haha.

It took 6 months to resolve my claim. :bananadead:

Edit : we sued them for all they had, which was only their liability insurance. Your situation would be very different, I think.

Good luck with the insurance nonsense! When my car got stolen progressive cleared in up in about a month which I was rather surprised. On smaller claims processed was forever long.

Good luck! And let me know about them icon ucas
