ha, dirt bikes still break. my subframe just behind the air box cracked. no big deal since its easily fixable or replaceable but still.

Dang dude, I just about looped timmeh yesterday. It's hard to maintain balance point on a 2 stroke! I was in a field though lol!

Happened about a month ago. Wasn't even trying to wheelie. Just powered out of a downhill corner and the bike went on the pipe and over it went lol. Smashed the Shiz out of my pipe but I've got a second one so no big. My foot got mashed good but the boots did their job.

 

Yikes! Can't believe that cracked the sub frame! I've dented my brand new pipe too... Need a carbon gaurd still. But part of me wants to just do what @Squeaky Penguin does and thrash it all summer then send it off to get fixed each winter.

 

Yea bit it runs like ass when it's dented good...

It broke the part that holds the plastic up behind tbe airbox

Progress has been made. Time to start tucking and bridging wires.
Notice the fat scratch between the map lights... Somehow I made it through the dremeling safely and when cleaning up the burrs with a file I slipped

 

That'll turn out real nice doggy.

Just hope you never have to redo any of it

Well after putting everything together I can't close it. Starts popping out the whole panel. Not quite sure what to do at this point. Any advice from people who have done it would be great. My only idea is 90 degree disconnects if I can even find them...
I guess I could maybe make my wire loops smaller? That didn't really work out well because I already had two pull out trying to force it closed. Eff.

 

Gotta make the loops smaller... that happened to me the first time i did it too, really sucked but it had to be done

 

I had to make smaller loops and I took out some larger pieces of the back of the panel. I left the screw area a little larger and removed the majority of the rest of the back section. You'll never see it anyway!!

Ok. I think it's just the power wire thats a main issue. I don't see me being able to get the grounds looped any smaller. Stupid 12 Gauge...

Where did you guys come in with the wires? Just the back left like I did? I felt like they were holding stuff up as well...

 

I cut the backing out to give a bit more room against the roof. You wont see it anyways. Wire wise i have a lot more wires (take it you are using an spod?) and can close mine. But I ran basically three sets of wires to mine. One set of "from fuse", one set "to ACC" and one set that contained the illumination, ground, power, and two spare wires. All three sets i ran from parking brake area, up the pillar, and across the headliner. One set i came in from the left of the rear view mirror, one set comes in sort of even with the mirror, and the third from the right on the mirror.

Its a tight fit so just play with it and push wires back when you can.
