Went on a run through Bald Eagle State Park with Dean Shirley of East Coast Overland Adventures during day 3 of the Mid-Atlantic Overland Festival. Pictures courtesy of 4Low Digital Labs.

 

Purchased Fox 2.0" resi rear shocks but they're on a 3 week backorder.
The new LCAs should arrive this week, though half the alignment hardware was $100 from the local Toyota dealer.

Can't wait to slap this stuff on!

I have a working stereo finally! Stock, hard for a recovering audiophile, but better than nothing.

Suspension going on this upcoming weekend sans the Fox rear shocks. They're still backordered.

 

Received word that Fox pushed the backorder out another 4 weeks. That's 3 months waiting for a pair of shocks. What the fuck Fox?
Wheelers Offroad has been awesome and I've got to give super-kudos to them for trying to make things right even though the backorder is on the manufacturer side.

Suspension is on and well tested. Loving the added travel for sure. Tested everything out at Rausch Creek, Bald Eagle SF, & Michaeux SF.
Hopefully pictures to follow in the coming weeks. Saving up for the RTT!

Shocks finally shipped!!!
Expected delivery, 11/2/2016.

 

Wasn't home for the shock delivery...trying again tomorrow.
Picked up some damage over the weekend on the NE property at Rausch on a black hill:

 

So I haven't updated the thread in a while. Luckily, that doesn't mean things are not happening with each day.
Got the new shocks on and tested them out a bit. (no pics of the trails this time though, it was dark) Rear end is so much smoother though the spring rate feels just a tad high. Hopefully this will not matter as much once the tent goes on the bed.

 

Pulled the trigger on a Tepui Ayer today (thanks to Tepui's Black Friday deal).

Also fitted an 8' hose to a wonder pump so I can just siphon gas from my 2 5gal Jerry cans without having to unlash them.

 

It really really is. Nice truck!!!

 

Camping with the tent again. Truly is a high quality product. Would be very pleased with it if I could stop zipping the freaking rain fly into the travel cover.

 

Looks like fun!!!
