nice. this little dell 620 while only a c2d is a great little machine.

Anyone have any experience with wwan or pcmcia cards for verizon? hoping to add 4g to this little bastard. if we can get them done cheap enough were gonna buy a couple of these things.

I used to use PCMCIA cards a lot back in the day. Typically they are simple to use. Install, load drivers/software, then connect to their 4g.

If all else fails, put that laptop on a docking station... it's a work around but probably not the best option if you're moving from rig to rig..

I've used them before, works good... however now I have a USB unit, works good too.

UPDATE, from my research verizon is a dick bag and only supports 3g, well, i should say its a mixture of verizon/dell. they are pushing for the mobile hotspots now.

docks and usb would definitely just be clunky and get in the way :/

Anyone notice that the Play Store is using GPS when it's opened? It's been doing this since the last couple of updates. It won't stop using GPS until I go into recents and close it.

I read that the Playstore is now suggesting apps based on your location. That's why the gps turns on. There might be a way to turn that off though.

Playstore is checking the geographical location of your account when you go into it. Like Brian said, it's to help suggest apps for you.

    I think it's stupid.

On a side note, pretty sure this is my next phone. I'm done with Samsung.

This is how a few Nexus phones as well as the HTC was made. Solid chassis and price pointed low.

That looks to be a nice phone. Is it going to just be a vanilla build Nougat?

Been on Nougat beta and I like the changes. My apps are slowly updating. I Haven't had too many issues. Visual VM isnt working and Pandora was being stupid at first. Over all battery feels better and the multi tab/split sceen is nice

I was eventually going to get the HTC 10, but maybe I'll get this instead.

HTC is all I've been using since the original Incredible. I'm still using an M8. I wish the 10 didn't have the center button though. Reminds me of an iPhone.

Upgrade the firmware on your router, reboot router/modem and try again.

The camera quality on some of their builds is what turned me off from them. Camera is one of the most important features to me on my phone. I just looked at the HTC 10 and it does look like an iPhone.
