let me know if I can help any more

The only thing I would really recommend is to leave your leads long behind the tail light so you can make your crimp connections from the pod to the wiring. you wont have room to feed crimps under the bed rail cap. SO Pod wiring goes in from the top, the your wiring fed in from the bottom, and make your connections behind the tail light.

I also have the CBI brakets... it's a little more work. but they look the best IMO... trimming ain't so bad. no one can see the trimming unless the hood is open also.

plus the CBI guys are solid people

this. they are much more solid than the other versions that mount to the hood IMO. and.. they stay put when the hood is up. the trimming isnt a big deal at all either. if you take your time, test fit, cut, test fit, cut, etc.. it can come out clean.

don't you threaten me with a good time!
yep, I took my time trimming and test fitting before I got it where I want. the only word of advice is just be cautious when removing the clip that holds your windshield washer fluid hose. I broke mine, so now I have to hold the line every time I close the hood or else the washer no workie because it pinches..nota big deal, just something to be aware of

I knew a guy that had Famous Fab and they ended up cracking his windshield because the guys at Toyota didn't know it would hit so they quickly threw open the hood and crack....

No not at all, I was simply adding to the fact that CBI are the easiest and best way to get ditch lights

My Tacoma should be more like yours :) But, I already built a Jeep that I still have. Hard to justify :(

Black, looks better IMO. I'm a fan of contrast tho which is why nothing on my truck is color matched

That's the only difference mainly, but the paint on the black is really hard to mess up. I've thrown kayaks up there and haven't scratched shit
