    Love my 255s

Only touched the front with OME 883s, so your looking at almost 2" lift.
I would have preferred Coopers, but BFGs were my only option locally.

    20160222_095353_zpsaufp9bm8_8942cd0dbd7459ec1abf1442f3e71b52ebcb69a4.jpg

Removing the mudflaps was the only mod needed.

Local talent isn't giving me a warm fuzzy feeling, so not pushing for new gears...will keep looking. That being said, she honestly drives pretty good with stock gears.

I'm sure mileage would be better with something lighter or after new gears, but I can't complain.

Your going to love the instant lift you get from these guys :)

Stock 245s here but am looking for new tires ideas. Was thinking of the 265 70 16 in the kumho road ventures at51 or the hankook dynapro atm. Lmk what yall think. Oh I also have the stock steel wheels and no lift but I'm in a prerunner so I might put a leveling kit later on

All season mats, 2nd filter delete, DT header, Jardine cat-back, URD shifter, Bilstein 5100's all around at .85 front with Eibachs + .25 passenger/.5 drivers spacers and 1.5 AAL, 0w20 synthetic, Scanguage II, extra D rings, OEM backup camera+Mirror, bed mat, Extang Solid Fold, Popnlock 5300, Pro Comp 7089's 4.5bs 285/70/17 Revo 2s, De-badged
Really in the end I think the 265/70/17 265/75/16 were the best option for the 4 cylinder

I am running stock size 245 Hankook Dynapro ATs on mine. I have XD Enduro Pro wheels with a slightly wider offset also. So I was going to run these and I saved a set of my BFG KO2's from my last truck (Colorado) that are like new and will fit these rims at 265/70/16. I'm pretty sure they will also fit, as the trucks sits. But before I would attempt to mount those, I will likely have the front lifted a bit anyways...just a mild level from 5100s, I assume.

Did anyone ever use stock setting 5100's and Eibachs?

There's some guy on Instagram running 54s on a DD JKU, LS swap, shop says it cruises 70 with 5.38 gears. Skeptical but looks mean

I had to get new tires a while ago, & decided to go a little wider & taller. Now I'm running 235/70-16 which is plenty big compared to the stock setup.20141126_142202.jpg

How many of you have a spare tire that is the same size as the other 4? I ask because I understand the differential can be damaged by running two different size tires on the rear axle. I am currently including my spare in the rotation just to use it up, then I will get 5 new tires slightly larger than the stock size. The stock size tires look like rollerskate wheels inside these big fenders.

Just about to put a pair of 255 75 17 on tomorrow.....never thought about this size until I realized how cheap they are used because they are the stock Jeep tires, and I love they are all black sidewalls. 46-47lbs for the bfgooddrich MTs so should be a good tire

Put them on today and they are by far the best tire I used so far. Got some zip back into the truck with a bit smaller and lighter tires, still a decent size but only 255 for decent highway mileage, and way smoother then the E rated 10 plys I had before. Love them and decent price from a used Jeep owner

No that was the P rated 285s. Liked them too but just too big of a tire for our 2.7s
