from colorado with 2013 tacoma 4x4 don't do as much off -roading as in the past. however
need new tires that will do me well in snow as well as rain etc. I do get off road but nothing overwhelming. don't need a real aggressive tire. one that will wear well i.e. highway 95% of the time. something that won't bankrupt me . [265/70r16]

Some stuff. Not a lot, just some.
Goodyear Duratrac gets my vote. Great on the highway, excellent wear. Superb in the snow.

I've heard good things about the Cooper A/TW as well. If you're doing a lot of highway they would probably be quieter. I love my Duratracs, but they sing to you as you drive.

The Falken AT3W's are brand new and I haven't seen anything negative about them. 3W stands for Winter, Water, Wear. They are incredibly quiet on the highway, look good, but also come with a 55,000 mile warranty.

Yeah, if you really want a very streetable tire that handles like a great passenger car tire, the Michelin is hard to beat. It's what I recommended my dad put on his truck. But if you go off road, even only on the occasional weekend, these Falkens are kinda the best kept secret in A/T tires.
