I'm sorry that I just saw this thread. I just recently had $9k worth of damage done to my truck down in Highlands Ranch. I took it to http://autohailco.com/ and they did an awesome job. Free rental car from Enterprise and they waived my deductible. It took them about 2 weeks to finish the job. Super happy with the results. The only thing that they had to replace was the little grill in my hood scoop.

Thanks. I just got a different estimate at about $9k. I have it at Abra auto due to the roof needing to be replaced..

I used Abra a long time ago and issues with the paint color not matching and the clear coat chipping after a few weeks. This was about 13 years ago and they did fix it all after I pointed it out. Just a word of caution to look it all over when you get it back.

No biggie on replacing sheet metal. My 2010 was hail damaged 6 months after buying it new. They had to cut off & weld on a new roof. Six years later, it still looks good as new.

...^^^... Was like you until I had my first "hail storm hit" ...

For door dings ... I still carefully park in special spot, sometimes 1/4 mile away from store ... but I can't win against hail.

Excuse me ignorance on this I live in Vancouver bc and the worst we see is a bit of ran. But when you get caught out side in that do you get pelted to death with golf ball size hail. That shits gotta fuck you up. It's only going to take 1 to knock you out then you just lay their and die?

I am sure you could get hurt if you stood there while it was really bad. Usually its pea size or dime which doesnt really hurt. I have never personally seen golfball size or bigger.

It's not the golf ball size you have to worry about. It's the softball size!

This must be what it looks like in an average day of an ISIS vacation home and those are really disguised cluster bombs to look like hail.
