Ordered a Panavise HVAC mount with Ram ball mount, socket arm, and X-grip mount for my phone so I don't have to just put it in the little pen cubby of the center console.

Should be able to get the parts in and install by end of the week. It will look something like this when it is done. (Sorry for picture for ants)

I wanted the mount on the right side of the steering wheel so my charging cable and aux cable weren't stretching across.

I haven't researched quotes on actual shops, only online so far. I will be calling around to local shops as the time gets closer. I think I will need a new set by spring of next year.

That's a great deal. Unfortunately I can't afford to get a new set right now, especially since this set still has at least 5-10k left in them.

Ordering new Km2's soon, online price at $829 was cheapest I found at both online/shops. My parents said they're going to help pay for them since they worry about anything having to do with my safety and would rather help pay for tires if I need them, so I'm very gracious for them for that and will be able to get a new set soon instead of stretching this set out another 5-10k.

Going to have my mechanic friend mount and balance at the firehouse so I'll save some money there too.

Also need to get a new battery before the winter.

    (4) BFG KM2's ordered in 255/85/16. I'm happy with how the KM2's perform and wear for the first 20-25K. Plus I think my control freak tendencies would've been annoyed at having Cooper's on the wheels and one KM2 as my spare. :)

Was able to get them from 4WP for $869. $50 discount and free shipping so I couldn't pass it up. Should be in within a week or week and a half.

does DTD carry the km2s? you might have been able to save a few bucks more by waiting for their ebay site to do the $100 off $400 offer they do occasionally. I liked my km2s, but so far, like the coopers better. I still have a km2 as a spare :anonymous:

Yeah I looked on their eBay site after you told me about that. They were significantly more expensive than 4WP. I could've waited for one of their deals but who knows how long that could be.

I'm pretty happy with $869 for four brand new tires.

My next tires will probably be five of the Coopers if I still have the truck in 40k miles ;)

Also, RAM mounts and Panavise mount is in, gonna pick it up from my old house on Sunday and hopefully install it that night.

Will be nice to have an actual phone mount after using the center console cubby for 5 years

Should be able to put the phone mount on tomorrow. Got delayed doing bunch of stuff at the firehouse and helping renovate the bathroom at my new place.

Also got my next mods planned out. Don't have too much stuff left to do on this old POS but couple things still left on my current to-do.
    • Mount new tires (this Sunday, 09/04/16)
    • Duralast 27F battery (October-ish timeline)
    • Another WheelWitness dash cam for rear-facing (December-ish timeline)
    • Rigid Amber Dually floods to replace my crappy Acro fogs (December-ish timeline)

My Acros had corroded down so bad that the bolts were seized and I had to cut them off with a dremel and an angle grinder on mine. Hopefully yours arent that bad to remove. The Rigids didnt fit in my demello bumper. You sure they will fit your pelfrey? I probably have the dimensions that the hole needs to be on a sticky note somewhere at home. If you need them let me know I'll see if I can find it. When I bought them I hooked them up and they are nice and bright, sure wish I couldve kept them.

Pelfrey sells the Rigids and another brand specifically for their bumpers on their website so they should fit.

I would actually like them before winter so the ambers should be nice in snow.

Now their bumpers are built to fit Baja Designs, I think. But yours is much older.

On another note, can get a pair of baja designs XL80 fogs for $799. 9500 lumens

    My rigids are 1500 lumens

Yes aluminum. Much happier than I was with the steel DO. My bumper AND winch now weigh less than just my old bumper by itself.

They were doing Rigid when I got mine. They should fit but I would obviously call them beforehand to make sure.
